KIPO renewal fees, the Concierge fee, class-by-class renewal, installments, and late surcharges — all on one screen. One registration number sets up your next 10-year cycle automatically.
An agency fee covering deadline tracking, 4-step reminders, automatic renewal-application drafting, KIPO filing, and receipt issuance. It is charged per class and scales with the number of classes renewed. KIPO renewal fees are separate, and you can choose the renewal scope class by class.
The most common simple single-class renewal. One registration number → auto-drafted application → attorney review → KIPO filing, all automatic.
$65.00/class
KIPO renewal fee not included
$65.00 is charged per class renewed. Drop classes you no longer use to cut cost by that many classes.
$65.00/class (proportional)
KIPO renewal fee not included
You can pay the KIPO renewal fee in two installments. The installment total is about ₩ 68,000 ($53.27) higher per class than a lump sum. The Concierge fee is charged in full on the first payment.
₩ 184,000 ($144.13)/class each (1st & 2nd)
KIPO renewal fee not included
A statutory fee paid directly to KIPO. It is a flat amount per class, and entering the late-payment window after expiry adds roughly a 10% surcharge. If a class has more than 10 designated goods, the excess incurs an add-on charge.Amounts in parentheses are estimated conversions at the applied FX rate.
The renewal window — the lowest-cost time to renew
The last 6 months after expiry — +10% surcharge applies
e.g. 2 classes · 15 designated goods each, normal renewal = ₩ 600,000 + ₩ 20,000 (5 excess × 2 classes) + ₩ 9,120 = ₩ 629,120 ($526.00).
Among the multiple classes designated at registration, you can renew only those actually in use or worth protecting. Dropping unused classes lowers both the KIPO renewal fee and the Concierge fee by that many classes.
If a lump sum is heavy, pay in installments; even after expiry, within the 6-month late window you can still recover with a surcharge.

₩ 184,000 ($144.13)/class each (1st & 2nd)
You can pay the KIPO renewal fee in two installments. Paying just the first installment files the renewal immediately, and the second is due within 5 years of the renewal registration. The installment total is about ₩ 68,000 ($53.27) higher per class than a lump sum.
+10% surcharge
Even after the expiry date, within the 6-month late window you can renew by adding a surcharge (+₩ 30,000 ($25.00) per class). After 6 months the right lapses and even the same mark must be filed anew.
First registration is free; you pay only once each time renewal comes due. The 4-step reminders and class-by-class renewal keep working even before payment.
